Simply Bollocks

such an a-hole minded person.
i mean like hello? this blog is mine and its my rule.

okay enough with fighting. what am i going to tell here is REAL fact!

this 'orang' right here told me "org melayu ckp ah melayu" . the english language and its status in malaysia has been for the last more that twenty years, a much debated-upon and jostled-about issue. the fact that so many people are concerned and affected by the english language issue punctuates that english plays both intra-nationally and internationally at all levels of communication and in many perspectives of peoples' life.

english can be found anywhere. its the language that unites everybody in the world. generally speaking it is the universal language of the world. i dont know if that is the official status but to me it is. when a language has got a position of a universal language, the position tends to be affirmed and extended by itself. thats why here in malaysia the use of english becomes a priority. for example science and maths subjects are all now in english at school.people nowadays are almost forced to know english and to learn it better.

from pre-independence day to post-independence times, english school or the subject of english were the first attempts at education other that religious school or sekolah pondok among the local malays. but then, as time goes on, the government manage to balance these whole language thing by introducing sekolah kebangsaan where both bahasa malaysia and english language are the must subjects for all of the students.the mass media also now balancing the english medium and malay medium programmes and publications.

as for the man-on-street, there is no denying that ,especially in the main cities and towns, that english language is gaining more currency. taxi driver, food hawkers, pedestrian peddler, food caterer have all the enthusiasm to speak in english even it is Broken-english, so why should we not???? like for example, the satay-man wants to convince a white people to try the satay ,would it be best for him to say "satay ni paling sedap" or "world best chicken-satay" , if he said "satay ni paling sedap" that particular white people at that time will probably thinking "what the heck is this guy saying, is this made of dog's meat??"

from the man-on-street, now, the use of english at home. there are a lot of factors encouraging the use of english at home.there is not need to worry that the concept of mother-tongue will lost or eroded. this is because among the malaysians, bilingualism or multilingualism are is commonly and widely used. for example a mother would say " herman, where are you going now? all you tau is melepak saja, when are you going to focus belajar, your periksa kan is around the corner" "yes mummy, herman tau lah, mummy dont worry ok,herman balik awal today" . from the dialog we can see that both mother and son are mixing english and malay language. however, it is okay, because the conversation is not formal and it practise the use of both malay and english language. this in malaysia we call it as Malaysian English.

Communication plays a vital role in today's global challenge, be it in business or personal affairs. Among the often used mediums for communication, the English language serves as a pivotal force in bridging barriers in communication which can make or break international relations and state of affairs. Of the thousand or so business transactions that occur around the world in any given day, English dominates the front lines.

so, to the 'orang' go shove ur ass in the toilet bowl and flush yourself down:)
